Definition of Rapha �Rapha is a Hebrew word meaning to heal, make healthful. The word is used over 60 times in the Old Testament of The Holy Bible. In addition to physical healing, we note in 1Ki18:30 we get a picture of what rapha means when Elijah "repaired (rapha) the altar of the Jehovah which had been torn down". So rapha conveys the idea of restoring something to its "normal" or useful state.
